How did Jeremy's outburst about the red wine actually further his game?

Before the red wine incident, Jeremy and Nick were planning on just denying any involvement in Elissa staying in the house.  After the red wine outburst, Kaitlin, Aaryn and a couple of the girls will think David was sent home because of Jeremy's outburst, and not because there was an alliance formed in the house to keep Elissa. This also keeps the girls from Blondtourage from questioning Jeremy and Nick on who they're really aligned with.
